Classes for Adults
a fun time out for you and your besties
An adult clay class consists of step by step instructions on how to make the project. I will never leave anyone behind and I offer any individual assistance as needed.
We will typically meet two times, once to make and once to glaze - two weeks apart - unless otherwise noted.
Class space is limited. Projects are available for pick up one week after class.
Frozen pond plate: a pottery wheel workshop
MULTIPLE CLASS TIMES COMING IN FEBRUARY
February 7 | 10:00-11:00
February 21 | 10:00-11:30
Location: Private studio in Gateway (Fort Myers)
Price: $75
Create a touch of winter magic with your own two hands. In this two-part pottery wheel workshop, you'll learn to throw a plate on the pottery wheel in the first session--the perfect project for beginners. In the second session, you'll learn how to glaze your piece using the Frozen Pond technique, layering icy tones and flowy glazes that capture the beauty of a still winter morning.
Join in the fun for a relaxed, hands-on experience that blends creativity, technique, and a bit of seasonal wonder. All materials, tools, and firings are included. No experience necessary--just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get a little muddy! At the end of class, the plates will need to be kiln fired to mature the glaze. When they are ready for pick up, I will notify you. A reminder text will go out to everyone before class starts with all the information you will need.
